Why the Tesla Cybertruck Looks Like a Refrigerator on Wheels

99 Problems with the Tesla Cybertruck.

Before reading this blog please watch this:

My take:

  • The flat stainless steel panels look like they were stolen from a kitchen appliance.
  • The sharp, blocky design makes it look more like a prop from a bad sci-fi movie than a truck.
  • Zero curves. Just angles and flat sheets, like a high school metal shop project.
  • Too big and awkward to look sleek, too weird to look tough.
  • Elon was like, “it’s indestructible” and then literally shot out the window. On stage.

  • The universal reaction to seeing one for the first time in person is: what in the fucking SpaceX is happening here. Not that it’s a bad thing to look futuristic. We love a good cyber-moment in movies and fashion. But it’s the fact that Elon Musk did it, just makes it so much more unpleasant.
  • Looks like someone repurposed a garbage can and called it a “futuristic truck.”
  • The only thing any Tesla does well is go fast… which plenty of normal-looking cars can do without looking like they were designed by a vegan.
  • If someone gave me one for free, I’d put it in drive and sent it off a cliff and let it sink to the bottom of the ocean, back where it belongs.
